I WISH!
I have never owned a bikini in my entire life. I wish I can wear one someday; my body isn’t just what it used to be 12 years ago. For now I have to content myself in wearing teeny weeny shorts and spaghetti strap tops while working in this El Nino weather. I wish I could say the same for my friends who are working in the office.
One of the benefits of working at home as a freelancer and virtual assistant is that I don’t have to wear office attire or yuppie clothes to work. I can whatever I want without repercussion from my clients. During hot summer months like this, I mostly wear skimpy shorts and the coolest top I could find. Pajamas and cotton shirts are my main work get-up during the cold -ber months.
However, not all virtual assistants find it motivating to work in house clothes. I know of a few virtual assistants who prefer to work a little dressed up. They wear pretty blouses are paired with house pants, slacks, or skirts, depending on their fashion style. They demonstrate the fact that you can still be fashionable while working at home.
Then there are some virtual assistants who work half naked. I am not kidding you! It’s true. I’ve tried it once. I was doing some data entry task and I was so engrossed in my work that I forgot that I’m still in my bra and undies. I only realized it when I felt cold so I donned a silk robe on. If my old supervisors can see me that time, they’d be envious!
I am ending this post with a funny imhat iage I saw off the Google. And if you’re a virtual assistant, a work-at-home mom, or a freelancer, please feel free to share with me your favorite get-up while working.

Great post! I can definitely say that working from home has its advantages: the freedom to wear anything, not needing to work around people you may never get along with, as well as being able to, guess what, enjoy the rent/mortgage you’re paying for.
I realized that while musing about how I can enjoy the rent while corporate slaves just see and experience their homes for a few hours a day.
This is what rocks about the job!

Hi Lorie! I agree with you, especially now that I rent my own house. Working from home allows us to actually “LIVE” in our homes rather than just sleep and take a bath on it.
Btw, as you’re working near the beach now, why not share a pic of you working in your bikini or fave beach wear?
LOL, I actually went around Boracay dressed in long shorts and sleeved shirts! Like this! http://i.imgur.com/zYdZi.jpg
