Data Entry Jobs

One of the tasks that a virtual assistant usually does is data entry. Usually, such data entry tasks require you to copy-paste data from one web site to another or capture data from a web site to a spreadsheet. These are highly repetitive tasks that require attention to details. They also require large amounts of time.

But job/task descriptions are never the same and sometimes you will find yourself reading Data Entry task descriptions that do not seem like what a data entry specialist would do. While browsing Craisglist today, I found these interesting job advertisements using the keyword Data Entry.

DATA ENTRY:  I’m looking to hire someone to do research for me. I need someone who can do research on real estate properties and check official record searches. Internet official record searches to check titles and return feedback to me.

Data Entry Assistant (Home Based): The Data-Entry Assistant researches conferences and special projects to assist marketing efforts. The Data-Entry Assistant coordinates and manages all aspects of event research and works closely with the Technology Department, as well as support staff.

Data Entry Assistant: I am looking for someone who can help with very simple data entry stuff. I have a script that you simply run. You need to have firefox browser and skype. must have good communication skills. You simply run the script, have to manually input some data and edit some data. For the right candidate you will be rewarded properly.
